What We Do

EDUCATION

Education is one of the core focus areas of PASKOP’s community development initiatives. We believe that access to quality education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and inequality. Through our education programs, PASKOP works to create learning opportunities for underprivileged children, adolescents, and vulnerable communities across Bangladesh. Our initiatives aim to support students by providing educational materials, awareness programs, mentorship, and community-based learning support that encourage academic growth and personal development. We work closely with families, schools, local communities, and development partners to ensure that children can continue their education in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

PASKOP also focuses on promoting equal educational opportunities for girls and marginalized groups who often face social and economic barriers to learning. By encouraging school participation, reducing educational disparities, and supporting skill-based learning, we strive to empower young people with the knowledge and confidence needed to build a brighter future. Beyond formal education, we believe in lifelong learning and community awareness. Our programs include educational campaigns, training sessions, and awareness activities designed to strengthen social responsibility, leadership, and community participation.

PASKOP implements various educational support initiatives for poor and disadvantaged beneficiaries to ensure inclusive and equitable access to education and also focused on free educational materials distribution to increasing students attendance rates. These include one-time educational assistance for students who have dropped out of school or are unable to enroll due to financial hardship. The organization also arranges special coaching classes for students who are weak in Mathematics and English and cannot afford private tutoring due to financial constraints. Targeted students achieved 70% marks in the mentioned subjects at school after attending special coaching classes. In addition, PASKOP operates seven ethnic language education and cultural practice centers in its working areas to preserve and promote the language and cultural heritage of indigenous communities. These language center are supported by local community leaders and members who oversee the running of the centers.

Nowadays, three hundred and twenty-eight children attend seven ethnic language centers, and nutritious food is also provided to students twice a month. Our committee members are trying to search for funding to carry out this work and expand the program. Technical education support is also provided to students to help them become self-reliant in the future. Through these targeted interventions, PASKOP ensures continuous academic progress while creating meaningful opportunities for skill development. Ultimately, these programs are designed to reduce school dropout rates among children from low-income families and empower them to become self-reliant, capable, and confident contributors to society.
